DRY ICE PRESS TWIN-ICE 100 BLOCK
── Product description
The TWIN-ICE 100 BLOCK is a versatile dry ice press featuring a twin-shaft design, perfectly suitable for production of slices, blocks, pellets, and nuggets. Ideal for large-scale production runs, it offers maximum flexibility and efficiency.
Dry ice is the solid form of carbon dioxide (CO₂) and is created by expanding liquid CO₂ to atmospheric pressure. Carbon dioxide is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, non-flammable, and bacteriostatic gas. Naturally occurring from volcanic sources, CO₂ is also produced by fossil fuel combustion, fermentation processes (particularly alcohol and beer), and as an exhaust gas during chemical processing of petroleum products.
Upon expansion, CO₂ snow is formed, which is hydraulically compacted into blocks or pellets at a density of approximately 1.5 kg/dm³. Our in-depth expertise in dry ice production and applications forms the foundation for our own hydraulic dry ice presses.
