How is dry ice formed?
The whole process begins with carbon dioxide gas, which is highly compressed and cooled. As a result, it turns into liquid CO2. The dry ice machine chamber is then filled with liquid CO2. The process of CO2 expansion leads to its freezing and becoming CO2 snow. Then the snow is compressed into the shape or form of a dry ice product.
